Tyrell Carrillo, Sr.
Owner / Funeral Director
Tyrell Carrillo, Sr. is the Founder of T. Carrillo Funeral Service, LLC. As a first generation Funeral Director, Mr. Carrillo strongly believes that his service is his ministry, which explains his unique style of serving every family as his family. He was born and raised in the Bronx and graduated from Walton High School. After graduating from high school, he earned a Mortuary Science degree from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in Manhattan. Upon completion of his Mortuary Science program, he was awarded the prestigious NYS Funeral Directors Association Certificate of Merit, as voted by his classmates and faculty, as being the student who best typifies the Highest ideals of the Funeral Service Profession. With over 15 years of Funeral Industry experience, Mr. Carrillo understands the importance of family and community. He is a member of Boyer Lodge #1, MWPHGLNY and is a known Anti-violence activist who has helped former and current gang members get a second chance at success. He is the husband of Dimon Carrillo.

Dimon Carrillo is the wife of Tyrell Carrillo, Sr. She is also the Co-Owner and Vice President of our firm. Mrs. Carrillo prides herself in being of assistance and offering the utmost in compassionate, personal service to each family she is honored to assist. There has always been a space in her heart for this career; even as a young girl she knew this was her calling. Her approach is to provide information and support at a time of loss, as well as give people the tools they will need to move forward, laugh again and find new hope. Mrs. Carrillo also oversees administrative and staff management and plays an integral role in managing daily operations.
