The loving, compassionate, strong, and beautiful Victoria Susan Keller was born the middle sister of three girls to Elvy Daniels on June 8th 1949. From kindergarten to 8th grade she attended catholic school at St. Rita of Cascia elementary school in the Bronx. From there she attended Morris High School in the Bronx. Victoria was united in holy matrimony to Earvin Keller. From their union came one daughter, Jeanine Marie LaBeet, (formally Keller) in July of 1966. Victoria joined the United States Army in 1976 where she proudly served active duty as a food inspector until 1981 and subsequently joined the Army reserves at which time she was reactivated to active duty. From 1990 to 1991, Victoria served in The Iraq War - Desert Storm, in Saudi Arabia as a medic. Ultimately, Victoria loved and was proud offer service of over 20 years in the U.S. Army, during which time she received medals of conduct: expertise with the M16 rifle, The Bronze Service Star and The Kuwait Liberation Medal, just to name a few. The highest ranking Victoria received was Sergeant First Class by the time she retired. Victoria was outgoing, friendly and very helpful to everyone. She had a passion for photography and painting, but her true loves were her family and the Army. She was always supportive, caring, nurturing and a respected member of the community where ever she lived. She loved to travel and move around!! She’s lived in the Bronx NY, Albany NY, Fayetteville NC, and Monticello NY. Before returning back to New York City to be with her family during her cancer treatment, she spent approximately 12 years in Las Vegas, Nevada. Victoria leaves behind: Her mother, Elvy Cristalia Daniels (nee LaBeet); 2 sisters, Stephanie Louise Harley, and Elizabeth Ann Bascome; her daughter, Jeanine Marie LaBeet; 2 grand sons, Michael Anthony Keller and Terrance Richard Ware; 1 granddaughter, Chrystalia Louise Foreman; 5 great grandchildren, Avianna, Mariyah, Charles Jr., Malique, and Xinavane, and many nieces, nephews and cousins who will all love and miss Victoria for an eternity.
