Robert Jones

Robert Demetrius Jones was born on March 22, 1976, in New York to the late Mattie Mae Dobbins and Robert Lee Lewis.
Robert was raised in the Bronx where he attended Elementary school PS 109 for the beginning of his academic career. Furthermore, he went to JHS 82 and attended Walton High School where he graduated and obtained his high school diploma.
Robert was affectionally known as "Rob," short for Robert and "Swinger" due to his popularity amongst his friends. Rob had a vibrant personality and a passion for the Arts. He was a father, a son, a brother, a husband and a friend. According to Rob " Family First No Regrets" was a saying he lived by and honored. His heart was steadfast and true. His laughter and positivity were contagious.
Rob moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts to pursue better opportunities. Rob was a proud man who's heart was big and gave so much to so many. He was a man who defined strength, love and security. He lived his life the way he wanted to live and in the process, blessed family and friends.

After a suffering illness on August 25, 2023 Rob entered into eternal rest with his Lord And Savior Jesus Christ.
Rob was the youngest of four children. He is survived by his brothers Jessie Jones Jr., Jeffery Jones and sister-in-law Gwendoly Jones. His sister Vanessa Ann Fredrick precedes him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of more than a decade, Lisa Jones. and his devoted children, son Maki Jones and daughters Makya Jones, Ashley Jones and Legend Jones. Nephews and Nieces Little Jessie Jones, Adrienne Fredrick, Vanessa Jewel Jones, Tynaisha, Nyema, Shanee and Anthony Dobbins AKA (Diamond). A host of great nieces and nephews and friends who became family brother's Steven Buchanan AKA (Butter), Kenyatta Young and Derrick Addams AKA (D Boss).

He will always be remembered and missed in his physical presence, but he will never be forgotten and will forever be present spiritually.
