Richard Clive Small, at the age of 75, of Mt..Vernon, New York, entered into rest on May 25, 2022. Leaving to mourn family and friends. Richard was born in Jamaica WI, he was the youngest of five.
As a teen, he loved soccer and cricket. He attended Maverly Primary School then St Andrew Tech. His passion as a young man was giving back to his community by being an assistant teacher. He was also a role model to his nieces and nephews.
At the age of 24 he met Sandra. They got along famously, and within a short period of time they had gotten married and started a family, complete with Richard, Michelle, Michael, and later Robert. As a family they loved Star gazing they would huddle together on the roof gazing at the stars.
Being a creative and skillful man it was of the utmost importance to Richard that his children knew how to work with their hands he always had a garden, he was a good provider.
He was predeceased by: his parents Daniel and Eugena Small; siblings John and Joyce
He is survived by: his Wife Sandra, children Richard, Michelle, Michael & Robert. His grand children Oddity, Dayna, Onyx, Maximum and Hayden. His brother Earl and sister Tillinda and many nieces and nephews
The funeral service will be held at T. Carrillo Funeral Home on June 24, 2022 @11:00 am. There will be viewing at the same location beginning on June 23, 2022 @ 3:00pm -7:00pm. His family will be present to welcome loved ones. Please send memorial donations to T. Carrillo
