It is with great sadness that Noel Alphanso Brown, age 67, passed away peacefully at the Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. Noel was born on February 11, 1955 in Danvers Pen, St.Thomas Jamaica to parents Ephraim and Hilda Brown. Noel migrated to the US in 1981 where he continued his passion as a tailor at the Vanity Fair Cleaners in Manhattan until he retired in 2019. Noel truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasure, hanging with friends and family, and spending time with his nephews cooking his favorite dish “Cow foot and Beans”. Noel's absence leaves a tremendous loss in the lives of family members and friends. Blessed are those who knew him for his cheerfulness, hard work and generosity. Noel is survived by 2 children, Kerron and Noelena; 2 brothers, Dervin and Alfred; 3 sisters, Zilla, Olga, and Iris; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Noel are invited to Wembley's Sports Club located at 550 East 239 Street Bx NY to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and of course “JUST CHAT”!
