Nestor Rodriguez Cruz

On April 21, 2020, heaven gained and embraced another angel. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of  Nestor Enrique Rodriguez Cruz , who lost his battle with COVID-19 . He leaves behind his wife, Irma, four children Zulma, Nestor, Osvaldo , and his son Jose, as well as, his brother, sister, grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces, cousins, and dear friends who will greatly miss him.

Born on December 7, 1947, Nestor spent most of his life as a mechanic and an autobody worker in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it and showed extreme generosity to everyone he encountered .

On December 5, 2005, he moved to the Bronx where he was able to spend the remainder of his life. He was happiest with not only his friends and family, but also with his pets that he cared about immensely. He enjoyed spending time doing household projects with his daughter and teaching her all of things he learned throughout his life.

Although, we will miss him deeply, h e is now at peace with his parents Elisa Cruz Cintron and Agustin Rodriguez Rivera where they will be reunited once again .

El 21 de abril de 2020, el cielo ganó y abrazó a otro ángel . Nos entristece profundamente anunciar el fallecimiento de Néstor Enrique Rodríguez Cruz, quien perdió su batalla con COVID-19. Deja a su esposa , Irma, cuatro hijos , Zulma, Néstor , Osvaldo y su hijo José, así como a su hermano , hermana , nietos , bisnieto , sobrinas , primos y queridos amigos que lo extrañarán mucho .

Nacido el 7 de diciembre de 1947, Nestor pasó la mayor parte de su vida como mecánico y hojalatero en Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Siempre estaba allí para ayudar a quien lo necesitara y mostraba una generosidad extrema con todos los que se encontraba .

El 5 de diciembre de 2005, se mudó al Bronx, donde pudo pasar el resto de su vida . Era más feliz no solo con sus amigos y familiares , sino también con sus mascotas que le importaban inmensamente . Le gustaba pasar tiempo haciendo proyectos domésticos con su hija y enseñándole todo lo que aprendió a lo largo de su vida .

Aunque lo extrañaremos profundamente , ahora está en paz con sus padres Elisa Cruz Cintrón y Agustín Rodríguez Rivera, donde se reunirán nuevamente .
