Natasha Maria Steele was born on December 8th, 1979 at Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx, NY to loving parents Sandra Steele and Brian Joseph. Raised in The Bronx and Far Rockaway, Queens, with the help of her Aunt Pamela Steele , Natasha attended and graduated from Beach Channel High School in 1998.

As an HHC Correctional Health Services employee, she worked in the pharmacy at Rikers Island for 18 years. There she became a member of an extended family with many of her coworkers including correctional officers and civilian staff.

Natasha was a great friend to many, loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt and dog mom. She leaves behind to grieve, her Mother and Father as well as sister, Deniel Hunte-Wiltshire (John), brothers, Brian Joseph Jr. and Brandon Joseph, niece Deleah, nephews Jerrell and Jerron, cousins: Nikisha, Dawn, Rasheeda, Dorothea, Sandy, Judy, Allan and a host of other cousins, aunts: Pamela, Joan, Jean, Jocelyn, Cynthia and Virginia, uncles: Monty and Winston, beloved dog, Max and a host of family and friends.
