We rejoice and thank God for the life of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece and a very loyal friend Monique Shaw affectionately known as” Mucka “Born March 1, 1974 On the day of November 22, 2017, her soul was lifted by God’s angels to a place where everlasting peace and joy is promised. Monique was educated in the New York City school system. Everyone who knew Mucka was aware of her love for cooking and cleaning. Paper towels and Scott tissue along with other supplies was a fixture in her home. She was not only a great cleaner but an excellent cook who didn’t like people in her kitchen. As her youngest daughter Samarya says” cleaning products was a way of life for her” and mom never gave up no matter how hard things got she kept going and stayed strong. She will be greatly missed, always remembered for her encouraging words and motivating others in her company Her loving personality and humble spirit will forever be memorable. If you don’t believe, ask anybody about her contagious smile. The same smile you envision is the same smile she has on now as she looks down upon us from the gates of heaven. Monique Shaw leaves three loving children all of who she loved dearly. Son Dayvon Shaw and two daughters, Janae Shaw and Samarya Lamazon Five grandchildren Jared, Zola, Preston, Nova and Randi Shaw. Monique also leaves to mourn her beloved parents Shirley Shaw and Butch Hinnant. She was preceded in death of her only brother Derrick Shaw. Two living siblings Tawana Shaw and Shrell Shaw. Four nieces Revin, Alexis, Deyanna, Harmony and nephew Junior. Aunts Barbara Shaw, Bernice Shaw, Lulu Shaw, Deborah Shaw and one uncle Tony Shaw Host of cousins and dear friends who she cherished as family Monique you have left a mark on our hearts and we know you are in heaven watching over us. God knew that there was no more for his daughter here in this life and Monique was called home and she began her journey into the fullness of everlasting life.
