Lenford Michial Augustus Edie, was born in Long Road Saint Mary, Jamaica, on February 16th 1953 .
On this precious day the Lord blessed the late Linda Buchanna and Eric Edie with a handsome baby boy.
Lenny was raised in the Long Road community where he attended the Long Road Primary School, in his early teens he moved to Kingston to further his education.
Throughout his life he held several jobs, he was a correctional officer at the Gun Court Prison in Jamaica for many years while living in Kingston Jamaica he married his first wife, Lenny had three biological children and two step- children.

Lenny migrated to the United States to pursue is many dreams, while living here, He wear many hats , he even had the opportunity to run for apolitical office in 2013 , for City Council District 12 (here in the Bronx) among four other candidates.
While Lenny was running for office his vision was a New leader, a new vision, and a new direction.
Lenny was a people person, he was a caring person and he would always go above and beyond to help others. His passion was improvement for young people, employment, small business ownership , property ownership , the elderly and last but not less he had a big heart for politics.
As a long standing member of the community he had maintained and created a great reputation, Lenny had touched many lives and he left a great legacy behind.
Lenny survived his wife Cynthia Roberts -Edie and five beautiful children that he had loved dearly Orean, Dave, Claythia ,Hollis , and Abraham. 10 grandchildren , 14 siblings, nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.
