Joycelyn Victoria Bright Sampson. Born on the 31st of May 1960. Passed away at dawn June 28th 2022. She was the first born, the only girl of 5 brothers. Joyce didn't have any kids however, embraced Chimere and Sophia like her own. She was the cook and baker of the family. Her food and cakes were enjoyed by all. Joyce was loving, caring and generous. On occasion she would put you in your place but it was all out of love.
Joyce was loved by everyone including the elderly residents at Atria. Years after she retired, some still reached out to her.
Most didn't know Joyce loved music and dancing. That waist line sure could roll. We loved watching her having a good time.
We would have loved to have her around for many more years. To laugh, dance, talk, cook, bake, and travel with. But we could not watch her suffer no more. We didn't believe she would have the strength to wake up and say goodbye but she did. She fought her biggest fight until the end. Joyce is one of the strongest woman we know. However, it is time to go home and rest our love. It is time to sleep and rest in peace. We will have you in our hearts and mind forever.
