Jorge Zetina

New York - Jorge G. Zetina, 73, of Suffern, NY, took his last breath on December 11th, 2020. Jorge was born in Mexico City (F.D.) to the late Carlos and Inez (Galicia) Zetina. Upon entering the United States, Jorge mastered the trade of HVAC/Plumbing and successfully owned and operated Zetina's Plumbing, which served many homes of Rockland County, NY, for many years. Jorge loved spending time with family members playing dominoes, as well as traveling, playing guitar, bowling, and was a crossword puzzle enthusiast. Jorge's true passion however, was evangelism. He was a longtime and dedicated member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and devoted his time spreading and sharing the holy word of God to as many people as he could. Mr. Zetina is survived by his loving wife, Carmelita Zetina; his daughters, Karla (Trevor) Post, Erika (Darren) Smith, Krystle Zetina, and Kelly DeLeon; 9 grandchildren Aliyah, Alexiah and Lenny Post, Eleyna Rivas, Angelia Pabon, Charlize Fernández, Isaiah DeLeon, Isabella DeLeon, and Iyanna Rodriguez; two brothers José and Fernando Zetina; his sister, Alma Zetina; and other relatives. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2020, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
