Janice E. Lloyd

Janice E. Lloyd, 54, of the Bronx, passed away suddenly on August 18, 2018. She was mother to three children, Wilburn Weaver (29), Courtney Weaver (28), and Javon Weaver (25).

Janice was born on September 27, 1963 in St. John’s, Antigua to the late Claudius and Iris Lloyd. She graduated St. Croix Central High school in 1982 and Lehman College in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She later earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University, after which she began an illustrious career in service of young children. For 17 years she worked at Leake and Watts, most recently as Director of the Mother-Child program, where her warm spirit and giving heart positively impacted each colleague and client with whom she worked. She will forever be remembered as someone who lived life to the fullest through seeing the beauty in simple things; traveling and cooking for her friends and family.
