Remembering the Life of Idalia Castro

It is with love and fondness that we remember and celebrate the life of Idalia “Idalita” “BoBo” Castro.

Idalia was born to Auria and Francisco Castro on January 25th, 1967. She was tenderly called “Idalita” by her close family and friends, by whom she was beloved.

Raised in the Edenwald neighborhood, Idalia was affectionately known as “BoBo” to her neighbors and community where she provided some of the neighborhood's most treasured memories.

Idalia was a dedicated mother and grandmother and is survived by her daughter, Samantha Castro, and her two grandsons, Isaiah Guy and Jeremiah House.

Though she was called home on January 17th, 2024, we will continue to honor her. Her family, friends, and companions will treasure the warmth, wisdom, laughter, and love she brought into this world and that will always remain.
