GLORIA DARKWAH A.K.A OSOFO MAME KISSI
Gloria Afua Darkwah was on December 24th, 1965, at Akim Asamankese Eastern Region in Ghana to Mr. James Stephen Darkwah and Mame Victo- ria Nyarkoah.
Mame Gloria was the third born of the six sisters of her parents.
She started her basic education at Presbyterian Primary and continued to Presbyterian Middle School and completed with a Certificate all in Ashan- ti Mampong in the Ashanti Region Ghana.
She passed the common entrance examination to obtain admission to Oda Secondary school from 1981 to 1986.She was a learned student who always want to achieve more in education.
Mame Gloria was enrolled at St Monica's College of Education at Ashanti Mampong from 1987 to 1989 with a Certificate. Osofo Mame Gloria taught 2 years at Kojo Armah near Akim Asamankese.
Gloria met her future husband while schooling at Oda Secondary school and got married in 1986 her husband Eric Owusu Kissi living in Italy. Eu- rope. They were blessed with their first son Michele Owusu Kissi and Thompson O Kissi as an (Adopted) son.
Gloria worked at Albergo Hotel Rosa Camuna in Valley Camonica,she also worked with Puli-industria before joining her husband again in New York, The Bronx in 2003.
Osofo Mame Gloria and affectionately called Maa Glor started working with Summit Home Care and later perused a course to become a sterile Technician and work with New York Presbyterian Hospital for five and half years.
Mame Gloria loved to serve the Lord with all her might and everything she had. She supported her husband Rev Kissi for the work of God in Bethel Prayer Ministry both in Italy and New York.
Mame Gloria was kind, generous, a good wife and a strong woman of the faith.
She was an active member of The Cry of Pastor's Wives. She was the President for St Monica's College group of 1986 and 1987.
Mama Gloria, we will always remember you as you have gone to be with your Maker.
