Ella Grace Davis peacefully transitioned into her spiritual eternal life Monday, February 25, 2019. Ella was born December 1, 1946, in New York City to the late Carlis and Rosalee Davis. She was the third child out of ten children. Ella was full of life. Everyone who was blessed to know her could always feel her energy. Her smile could light up a room and her sense of humor was like no other. Growing up she received her education in NYC Public Schools. This is where she realized she could make a difference. She was employed with New York City Board of Education and for many years dedicated herself to the children, she interacted with on a daily basis. She enjoyed her career and the children adored her. Ella retired from the New York Board of Education and was able to enjoy her retirement. Ella showed us how to have fun, enjoy each moment and live life to the fullest. We celebrate Ella for her guidance, support, unconditional love, and strength. She loved and was devoted to her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grands and would do anything for them. She leaves behind two sons and two daughters, Radu, Omar, Okema and Shavon, 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her siblings, Arlene, Minnie, Linda, Yolanda, Peggy, Duke, and Kenneth. A host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.Though she left us too soon, she leaves us behind with memories to be cherished, love to be shared and strength to look up and know she’s watching over us and guiding our way. She is our angel now. She is at peace and relieved from any more pain and suffering. God has called her home.Rest in God’s loving arms... Queen, Mommy, Nana, Sis, Ella Grace We love you and we’ll miss you.
