Antoinette “Anna” Holley was born in New York City on August 14, 1958 to Mazie
Edith Holley Mungin. Anna went to school in NYC and graduated from Washington Irving
High School in 1976. Shortly thereafter, Anna enlisted in the United States Army where she was
stationed in Germany and Texas.
Throughout her time with us Anna devoted her life to taking care of elderly family
members and working at a facility for the mentally disabled. She would always say that if she
was not working with the elderly, she would work with children because of her need to help
disabled children. A kind and sweet soul, she cared for many children and had a hand in their
upbringing. Joseph Haynes, Alysha and Mariah Watson fondly called her Auntie, a name she
cherished from her extended family.
Anna moved to Atlanta Georgia on September 3, 2008 where she resumed her calling to
serve people in need with an open heart. She worked with numerous healthcare agencies caring
for the elderly. One patient in particular, Ms. Juanita Bridges and her family, became very
attached to Anna. She was considered a part of the Bridges family during her 10+ years caring
for Ms. Juanita. Anna turned her life over to the Lord when she joined Worship Center
International Church.
She was baptized in May, 2011 under the direction of Apostle Dr. Jeffrey
Billingsley. Anna wholeheartedly served the Church with unconditional love as a greeter and
usher; she sang on the choir’s Praise Team; she provided Pastoral Support, and she was a
member of Yeshua Store House which provided food and clothing to the homeless. Anna
touched a lot of hearts; she was loved and will be sorely missed.
Anna is preceded in death by her Father George Harris Mungin; Sister Yvette Holley;
Nephew Maurice Anthony Williams; Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. William Gilbreath, Mr. Edward
Loney, and Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Hughes; as well as many beloved cousins.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Mother, Mazie E. Mungin; Son, Eian Holley
(wife, Eliana Castro); Grandsons: Prince and Ejae Holley; Sister Denise Holley Dickerson
(husband, Barry); Niece: Monique Chandler (husband, Oliver); Nephews: Barry Dickerson II,
