Andrew was born in Sussex County, Virginia to Louvenia Blakes and Morgan Young on August 2nd 1932.
He worked as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service and was self-employed as a painter/carpenter. He enjoyed Baseball, Football and spending time with his family.
Andrew is survived by his brother Howard Young (Virginia) of Yale Virginia, one sister Anne Lorraine Young Richmond Virginia, two sons Andrew and Ronald, one daughter Dawn, three grandchildren Waymon, Tiffany and Britny, one great grandson Jasper, two sister in-law Rosa Young and Elmira Young, one brother Jimmie Hicks, 18 nieces, 15 nephews, a devoted great niece, Felecia Blakes, a host of great nieces /nephews other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Louise Young, Barbara Hicks, Deliah Christine Fulton, brothers, Floyd, Morgan(Son), Horace (Leecy), Ernest(Scooty), William (Bill) and devoted niece, Phyllis Chadwick.
