Carrillo Funeral Service, LLC www.tcarrillofuneralservice.com Lizzie Lee Osazuwa Sunrise Sunset September 6, 1952 December 2, 2014 Lizzie Lee Osazuwa, daughter of the late Dorsey and Ida Virginia Thompson-Bullock, was born on September 6, 1952 in Nutbush, North Carolina. God stretched forth his hand and called Lizzie Osazuwa to peaceful rest at 11:43 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2nd 2014. Lizzie (affectionately known as “Lue”) was educated in Manhattan, NY. She attended Benjamin Franklin High School. A few years ago, Lizzie developed a fondness for modern technology, she greatly enjoyed playing computer games and communicating with relatives via e-mail, and text messages. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of True Prince of Peace church, she later joined Bronx Park Congregation Kingdom Hall where she was baptized. She loved praying, studying, reading The Bible, gospel music and helping others. Lizzie also loved shopping, picnics, plays, cooking, flowers, taking pictures, and spending quality time with her family. Lizzie was a very thoughtful individual. This past year she encouraged all of her family and friends to participate in a monthly group fast because she’d always had a deep desire for everyone to come closer together. She always put God first, and made a conscious effort to instill those very same values into her daughter. She is preceded in death by her father Dorsey Jr. Bullock, mother Ida V. Bullock; ten brothers James Thompson, Willie E. Bullock, Quintin Bullock, Judge C. Bullock of New York, and James D., Hubert Lee, Dorsey Jr. 2nd., Ervin Ray, Clarence, and Hubert Jr., of North Carolina; two sisters Gurty B. Bullock of New York, and Ida M. Bullock of North Carolina. Niece Tina D. Thompson of NY. Lizzie leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter Zee Sherine Bullock of New York; six sisters, Maggie L. Lippett (James) of Charlotte NC, Irene James (Clerence) of New York, Oucerine Pickens, Isabell Bullock, Virgie Hargrove (Charlie), Brenda Mitchell and husband of Henderson N.C., five brothers Charles Bullock, Vernon Bullock (Ayanna), Robert L. Thompson (Elnora) of New York. Howard P. Thompson of North Carolina, and William Henry (Shirley) of Petersburg, VA., Nieces: Arkim, Melba, O. Jannell, Charlene, Janae, Mya, Denise, Vanessa, Louise, Sonja, Cherry and Sherisse. Nephews: Sharad, Julius, Troy, Terrence, Bobby James, Michael, Ricky, James and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
